Youth Skills Development Program
Posted on August 2016
In partnership with the Luzerne County Offices of Juvenile Probation and Children and Youth Services, the Children’s Service Center is offering a Youth Skills Development Program. Through this after school program, CSC staff will utilize several approaches – including evidence-based therapies – to teach at-risk youth the skills required to promote quality of life, community integration, and successful transition into adulthood. The program assesses and addresses each youth’s risk factors that will have the greatest impact on potentially reducing recidivism. The program focuses on individual youth’s strengths and builds upon them to develop needed life-skills. For more information call: 570-825-6425 x204.
