Overview
As a mental health care system, we at Children's Service Center are deeply committed to the wellness of young people in our community. Our services are designed to meet the individualized needs of children, adolescents, and their families. Children's Service Center's Assessment, Crisis, and Referral Services are staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week, by psychiatric professionals for initial assessment and referral. We accept BC/BS, most indemnity insurance plans, CHAMPUS, Medical Assistance, and are a preferred provider for several managed care organizations and HMO plans.
Foster Care
Children's Service Center offers a full-service foster care program licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Services include: recruitment of qualified homes, screening of foster parent applicants, training, child placement, the monitoring of children in the foster home setting, and support for both the foster children and their respective foster parents.
