Wendy's Wonderful Kids is a national program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for adoption. It funds a recruiter at Children's Service Center who dedicates 100 percent of the workday to finding loving, adoptive families for children waiting for their forever family.
The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is a non-profit 501c(3) public charity dedicated to increasing the adoptions of more than 150,000 waiting children in North America's foster care system. It was created in 1992 by Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers Restaurants and an adopted child, who believed that every child deserves a permanent home and loving family. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption focuses on increasing adoption awareness service programs.
