BridgeView serves males and females, between the ages of 12-18, who demonstrate the need for residential placement through unsuccessful or repeated placements in lower levels of care or hospitalization.
A typical application for placement has multiple psychiatric diagnoses, has struggled in traditional school settings or at home, has suffered from various traumatic experiences, has difficulty expressing themselves, or may have experimented with drugs and alcohol.
BridgeView is not best designed to meet the needs of certain fire-setters, adolescents, sexual offenders, or autistic children. Each of these instances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure that their individual treatment needs can be met within the program structure.
