BridgeView delivers the highest quality care possible through a multidisciplinary treatment team. The goal of the program focuses on identifying barriers that prevent a child from succeeding at a lower level of care. Various therapeutic modalities target these barriers and work with both the child and the family to complete an intensive yet brief treatment program.
The therapeutic milieu followed at BridgeView includes but is not limited to the incorporation of:
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Psychological Assessment/Testing
- Behavior Modification
- Movement Therapy
- Creative Arts Therapy
- Horticultural Therapy
- Therapeutic Recreation
The residents of BridgeView also have the opportunity to participate in many community-based service projects and volunteer work.
In addition to therapeutic treatment, residents will receive education at our on-site school program. Licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, each classroom is divided by grade levels and is supported by a teacher, a teacher's aide, and also direct-care staff. As students progress in the classroom, arrangements can be made to transition into area public schools. This transition will better prepare the residents for a successful discharge.
