For drug or alcohol challenges, we are here and ready to help with comprehensive treatment and support to begin recovery. Medication Assisted Treatment or MAT provided by Heather Gavin, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, and Stephanie Davenport, MAT Coordinator, at Conyngham Primary Health Care Center, assists many people in combination with counseling and other behavioral therapies. The team is part of the Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Center of Excellence, recognized by The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services for its commitment to increasing access to MAT in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
MAT is provided in collaboration with the Substance Use Disorders team at Robinson Counseling Center along with individual/group therapy, medical care, support from certified recovery and peer specialists, crisis intervention, and caring assistance for substance-related medical emergencies.
